Scruffy Murphy's is open

A new Irish American bar has opened in Liverpool city centre. The mural celebrates the two nations' strong links.

Including:

The Statue of Liberty,

Ruby Walsh winning the 2005 GrandNational on Hedgehunter,

The great @thelarrybirdofficial shooting a 3-pointer for the Boston @celtics

The stars and stripes and the Irish tricolour.

A real challenge was working on this staircase and just as challenging trying to get a decent photo/video better seen in person to be honest!

The bar looks great, pop in for a drink if you're in town.
